Welcome to Suppose U Drive

Company: Suppose U Drive

Our mission is to earn lifetime customers by providing flexible, competitive, responsible, and timely transportation support, day in and day out.

At Suppose U Drive, two things come first: customer satisfaction and customer safety. That focus has shaped how we operate since 1936, and it is still what guides our team today. We support businesses that need work-ready trucks, responsive help, and terms that match real schedules, without the friction that often comes with bigger national providers.

We are family-owned, hands-on, and built around practical service. That means you will get straightforward answers, well-maintained equipment, and a team that cares about keeping your operation moving.

 — JUSTIN JOHNSTON, President/COO

Over 90 years of customer-first service

Suppose U Drive was founded by Edwin E. Johnston and his wife Mildred in 1936. Today, the company is still owned and managed by the Johnston family, with second and third generation leadership actively involved in day-to-day operations.

With a growing presence across Southern California and the Southwest, we bring the same personal, work-focused approach to businesses that want an easier rental and leasing experience.

How we work

A lot of companies say they are easy to work with. We try to prove it in small, practical ways that make your day smoother.

You can expect a team that listens first, helps you choose the right size and configuration, and keeps the process moving. Because we maintain our fleet in-house, we are able to keep equipment dependable and turn trucks quickly. If you call, you will reach someone who can actually help, not a call center.

This is the kind of service a family business can deliver when it stays involved in the work, and it is the reason many customers keep coming back year after year.

Serving the Southwest, rooted in Southern California

Suppose U Drive has served Southern California for decades, and we are proud of where we started. Today, we also support businesses across Arizona, including Phoenix, and throughout the broader Southwest with the same approach: work-ready equipment, flexible terms, and fast, straightforward support when plans change.

If your routes run between regions, your projects move seasonally, or you need coverage in both Southern California and Arizona, we can help you stay covered with rental and leasing options that keep you agile.

What to expect when you work with us

  • Work-ready trucks maintained by an in-house service team
  • Flexible rental and leasing terms that match real timelines
  • No-pressure help choosing the right vehicle for the job
  • Fast pickup and a process that stays simple
  • Support you can reach when plans change

Our advantages

1. Flexible fleet growth options

We build flexible leasing programs for businesses that want dependable capacity without the long commitment of ownership. Our lease fleet is maintained to high standards by our in-house service team, and we can help you choose the right vehicle type for the work you are doing, not just what looks good on paper.

2. Short-term rentals that match real timelines

We offer rental terms that can fit a day, a week, a month, or longer based on your needs. Our rental fleet includes late-model vans, stakebeds, box trucks in multiple sizes, and tractor options. Tell us what you are moving, where you are running, and your timeline, and we will recommend the unit best suited to the job.

3. Lower operating costs through better support

Running trucks takes time, labor, and planning, especially when uptime matters. Suppose U Drive can reduce the burden by providing well-maintained rental and lease equipment and offering in-house maintenance support. That can help lower overhead and free your team to focus on what drives revenue.
